Brown Family Session

I am really excited to share this session. I was really looking forward to this session, I couldn’t wait to photograph wee Jack (3 weeks new), he was born 3 days after Clara and of course his gorgeous big brother Ethan. Ethan was very shy when he came into the studio but came out of his shell and was the perfect model and I could have taken photographs of him all day. We got some beautiful images of Jack with his mommy, I love how he is looking into Emma’s eyes and of course finishing with some family photos. I just LOVE this family photo, I just look at it and smile, you can see how happy everyone is, what a perfect family. Swift Family

This was my last session before I went into hospital and what a fun session it was. These three little beauties were a pleasure to photograph.

What a smile….I love how the blue dress brings out the colour of her eyes. How can you not look at this photo and smile!

I can’t help but photograph babies lips, they are so prefect. Everything about them is so prefect. Little sleeping beauty at the end of the session.

Studio What to Wear

I took these photographs over a year ago and have been meaning to post something about them for a long time but am only getting around to doing it now……better late than never!

You can see what a huge difference an item of clothing makes to a photograph. When you look at the photograph on the left all you can see is the dress where on the right its the childs face that you are drawn to. It is a beautiful dress in the photo on the left but it does not photograph well in the studio.

I thought I would post this to let people see that softer colours work best when photographing children and give you something to think about when picking an outfit for photographs. When you look at your photographs you don’t want to be drawn to what they are wearing but their cute little faces.
